Receipt of Employee Handbook Acknowledgement

I acknowledge receipt of a copy of the Carter & Carter Employee Handbook and confirm that, as a condition of employment, I am willing to conduct myself in accordance with the policies and standards outlined therein.

I understand that the Handbook summarized information about the Company’s employment policies, and I understand that I should consult the Construction Coordinator regarding any questions I may have concerning these policies.

I also acknowledge that employment at Carter & Carter Construction is At-Will. Either the Company or I can terminate my employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause or notice.

Because the Company’s employment policies described in the Handbook are subject to change with or without notice, I acknowledge that revisions to the Handbook may occur and I understand that revised information may supersede, modify, or eliminate existing policies. However, I understand that the policy described in the Employment ‘At-Will’ Policy section of the Handbook can only be changed by a written agreement signed by the President of the Company.

I also understand that this is the first addition of the Carter & Carter Employee Handbook and the policies have not been tested in the field. I understand that the policies will be reviewed and revised as needed over the next twelve months.

I further acknowledge that this Handbook is not an employment contract.
